AIAS offers a range of courses based on the level of entry desired. Students may study courses that give them a conceptual knowledge of the operations of a hair salon, such as Certificate II in Hair Dressing, or they may wish to enter the industry as an apprentice by undertaking a Certificate II or III. Some students may choose to study at Certificate IV or Diploma level in order to be job ready (students will need to complete industry training in order to be qualified).

We recommend potential students discuss their options with the course co-ordinator or careers guidance officer.

The institute regularly works with industry leaders to locate the best students for any particular position, and our job boards are always available to peruse.
